Hair Brushes for Healthier Hair

Here are the different types of hair brushes to choose from

So can a brush make a difference for your hair?

The answer is definitely yes. Some brushes can be too harsh while others can get too hot and actually damage the hair by breaking to cystine bond in the hair allowing moisture to leak from the hair.

So what should you look for in a hair brush?

We we contacted top stylist Pamela Gean to tell us what can help with your hair and what can hurt when it comes to styling hair with brushes.

Unfortunately styling hair typically involves heat and that heat comes from a dry arid source. This means that there is little humidity that comes from hair dryers or curling irons so it is important that the heat be kept to a low heat.

Don't turn up the dry higher than medium and use a diffuser when possible to even distribute the heat.

When choosing a brush we like a certain type.
